ABOUT

Who are we?

My name is Matteo Stanca, and Liquid Frames was born out of my passion for surfing, traveling, and creating images. Through my personal experiences, I discovered that surfing was not just a sport, but a way to explore the world, encounter different cultures, and tell stories. Photography and video naturally became the tools I used to capture these moments and convey emotions.

With Liquid Frames, I wanted to create a space where images and stories take the time to exist. This project is above all personal, guided by the desire to share a sensitive vision of travel and the ocean, far from standardized content. The goal is to offer an authentic, inspiring perspective and to bring together a curious community attracted by exploration, creation, and movement.

Our mission

Much of the content surrounding surfing and travel focuses on performance, consumption, or standardized images. Liquid Frames was created to offer an alternative to this approach. The project’s mission is to promote surfing as a cultural and human experience, and travel as a means of understanding the world, through sincere visual storytelling.

Liquid Frames champions the idea that images are not merely decorative, but can tell stories, convey messages, and evoke emotions. Every article, gallery, and destination is designed to create an immersive environment where visitors can take the time to observe, read, and feel.

Whether you are a surfer, traveler, photographer, or simply curious, Liquid Frames aims to inspire, nurture creativity, and offer a personal view of the world, with an emphasis on authenticity, exploration, and visual sensitivity.
